Thomas House
209 Eureka Street, Central City
Originally constructed in 1867, this Greek Revival-style frame house is rumored to be built around the entrance to a mine. This unique house, virtually "frozen in time," represents a typical Central City middle class family home. The house looks almost the same as it did when the Thomas family, who bought the house in 1895, moved to Denver in 1917. The house remained intact and in the family, as a summer home, until 1987, when it became a museum.
